this weekend I cleaned my engine and painted my valve cover , I also adjusted my valves while I was at it......heres a few pics........

when i bought the car it had that dinky little intake so i got a stock intake for a temp till a get a new one, and i used dupicolor wheel paint. its really not hard to paint the valve cover at all there is a article about it just use aircraft remover and its easy,. the hard part was the valve adjusment.lol but everything was worth it it runs great now.. thanks for the complents

good stuff. you should paint the header heat shield black too, that will make the engine real clean.

yeah thats what i thought about the wheel paint but i researched it alittle and it works good and will last throught the temps

looks really good. how did you keep from painting the letters?

just paint the whole thing and then after it dries take sandpaper and sand the letters off
