Hello,

I recently bought a basket case LS with a LSVTEC swap using a GSR head. The purpose is to relive my youth (I'm 36 now) and I'm in the process of going through the car. I Noticed that two wires just hanging out in the engine bay not hooked to anything . I thought it was for the IAT but confirmed it was in fact hooked up on the IM. Any help would be appreciated. If I decide to keep the car , maybe I'll start a "build" thread but still the moment just trying to piece this mess together and get it running half way decent.

Thanks for the help and I look forward to contributing in the future.

From the pictures, the wire colors are BLU/RED and WHITE/RED, is that right?

If so, and judging by the location, this looks like it could be the crankshaft speed fluctuation sensor (CKF). Plugs in right by the crank pulley. From the looks of it, you may find the connector housing still plugged in there.
