Hi everyone,

I just got my first Check engine!!

, my engine was going from 1000 RPM to 2000 RPM then 1000 RPM etc.. I used the paperclip trick to figure out what the code was and it gave me code 14 - Electronic air Control error Code.

So I thought that maybe it was a temporarily thing so I unplugged my battery to reset it and a few hours later the problem came back.

So my question is:

1- Is that caused by my air intake sensor?

2- How much would it cost to fix it (just to have an Idea) ? Unless it’s something very simple to fix.

BTW, I'm not an expert!

If it is getting voltage then you will have to replace it.

I didn't find the price but I will pass by the Acura Dealer tomorrow anyway. So I’ll ask them.

The Problem came back.

I Asked the Acura Dealer how much it would cost and they told me 300$$$

.
Then I called a junkyard and they have an IACV used from an Integra 1998 LS for 25$

. .

My question is: Is the IACV the same from LS to GSR?
