One morning, within a few weeks, the car e-brake light stayed on despite everything is working fine - drove 500yds.
Later in the day it went off and it didn't happen again.

I checked the forums and found this and few others:

Some people say that it is an issue with cold weather:

Brake fluid is about 3.5yrs old - its due for a change - but the level is fine.

As per the first link, should I change those parts - parts are cheap but the workmanship, I am unsure. being an old car, I do not want to create a new problem - so I want to do it only if its necessary - as per the TSB my car is affected as its a 1999 yr model.

Did you guys change it? Acura made a change in design?

Add a little more fluid.

If you can twist the reservoir cap off…then you can clean the filter your self. Open the reservoir. Clean the gunk around it.

Top off a little more from the line.

Oh, just cleaning it would do - no need for replacement. Oh good. Thanks
