The b18a redlines at 6600 rpm
My b16a redlines at 8200
Using my stock ecu it seems to be redlining the same as the b18 did. Will the redline increase when I get the proper ecu in there?
Just curious
Thanks guys

Yes the ECU controls the redline. But shiet, you are running a B18A ECU on a vtec engine? That can be done?

You are going to redline one the primary cam profile, which......blows right?

ow. why'd it go in without the proper ecu?
didnt have the extra $200 at the time and everyone including the place I bought the engine from said it would run fine and not damage it with the stock ecu. (Course I didnt ask anout emissions). Either way I'm ordering it in 2 weeks
