In the long run I’m planning on going turbo and I know that with that will come the need to tune the engine so fuel consumption and everything runs properly w it. Problem is I don’t really understand how tuning works so I’m planning on taking my teggy to a place to tune it when the time comes. If I take it somewhere, would I still need to buy the hondata s300 module or would taking it to a shop save me the money of buying it?

I have a 1997 integra ls. It had a b18b1 motor but it blew so I’m planning on getting a b18c1 from a 2000 gsr.

what do you say when you do emissions tho? Isn’t running an obd1 ecu in an obd2 car illegal?
Running an OBD1 ECU isn't illegal in itself. Not passing emissions in your state would be a law violation. However, every state is different, and that's something that you'd have to research for your state. For some, it's not an issue. For others, it is.
