Hi,
I do not have the 530t (yet), but I'm interested in
buying one. I'm curious about how it works, though.
I know you can have 1-touch up/down to both windows.
My question is:

Does it give 1-touch to the passenger's window from the
driver's control AND the passenger's?

If so, do you have to splice the wire to both of those
switches/motors? Here's a picture to describe what
I'm talking about.

here's the diagram...if it doesn't come up, please just copy and paste the link

and trust me, if you try to wire it like you have it, you really run the risk of burning up something... just hook it up the way its supposed to get hooked up

So what is the correct way, just to have 1-touch for the
driver? I thought it would give 1-touch to 2 windows?

Gotcha.
For the g2, do you definitely have to run the wires
through the molex plug to get in between the switch
and the motor, or are they accessible from inside
the car? I'm thinking it's not the latter.

in a G2 its easy enough to get some wires through.. you'll need an about 12 gauge power wire, and two small wires, such as a single set of cheap speaker wire....

and btw, for posting an ImageSation image as a link, hack off the ".orig.jpg"

thanks morningz

Yea, I had to run wires through for actuators, so at
least I know what to expect.

as for the .orig.jpg, the reason I had that is because
it would show the larger image. Without it, a smaller
version comes up and it's not real easy to read.
I didn't know a way around that.

Does anyone have experience with the polarity of the window's wires?

I tested (in the passenger door) the blue/yellow (for up)
and blue/green (for down) wires. Both seemed to rest
at ground, and then also ground with the ignition on
and using the switch. I thought they had to switch to
(+) when moving the window up/down?

Just curious if anyone has messed with these wires before.

Can I just check myself here:
At the driver's door, I need the up/down wires for the
driver's window, and the up/down wires for the pass window.

I connected to the red/blue and red/yellow for the
driver's side, and the blue/yellow and blue/green
for the passenger's side.

The directions say to interface right at the motor,
not at the switch if you already have 1-touch. I don't
get how much closer to the motor you can get. There's
a wire going between them, you cut that wire and put
the 530t in the middle, right?

I blew the 20amp fuse in the fuse panel like 4 times,
which made the door switches not work.

arg. what am I missing?

"right at the motor" is the thick wires coming out of the driver's side switch

you are going to cut a total of 4 wires and make eight connections.....

the "input" side(s) of the 530t should all be "facing" the switch, the outputs goin away from the switch.....

totally diregard the "one-touch" stuff, if you get the proper wires, its all a moot point

Would you happen to understand the dipswitches?
There's 5 switches, each with either on or off.
The directions, though, say to put them either in
HIGH, MEDIUM, FACTORY, or LOW. I don't understand
how you can pick from 4 settings with a 2-way switch?

the combination of switches on and off equals how much current the module will provide before it switches off, this is so it has flexibilty to not overwork/underwork to roll up or down your windows..... start at the factory setting and work from there....

the module should "click" right after the windows get to the end positions...

btw, do you have the instuction manual? everything you have asked is in the book, lol (i am literally echoing what it says)

yea, i got the manual, lol. I understand about the
switches, now...thanks.

The reason I was saying to go to the driver's door with
the motor#1 and switch#1 wires, and to the pass's door
with the motor#2 and switch#2 wires is because of the
manual. From page 2, it says if you want 1-touch at the
pass's switch, you have to run wires to that door.

Are Integra's just setup differently?

i dunno, i gave you my advice and "what i would do" (which I don't take the road: "my way is the only way"), which is do both windows at the driver switch...

I have had my 530t for 5+ years now in three different cars all hooked up the same exact way and place, and i have never had one single issue with it... ever.....

so just trying to set you up with what i know works and, almost as important, will be reliable for years to come

besides you are probably going to be the one rolling down the passenger window 90+% of the time anyways, so the passenger switch should be a very very minor concern

no no, thanks for all the advice. I'm not disputing
what you're doing...I guess I was just kind-of combining
the different pieces of advice to try and make this do
what I wanted. But I'm grateful for all the advice

When you open your pass. window from the driver's switch,
do you have to hit it twice? The first time I hit it,
nothing happened, and then on the second time it goes
all the way.

...I'm almost done:)

EDIT: Would you also happen to know why they tell you
to turn off the anti-grind feature on the remote starter
if you install a 530t?

Wahoo! Figured it all out. Now have 1-touch on all 3 switches

Are you stuck? Just call the local audio shop and
ask how much it will cost to get it installed. That
will make you immediately get back to work and figure
stuff out on your own.

Alright need help I might have a bad DEI 530t. Well i have the autopage RF-310 series alarm and im adding the DEI 530T on. My problems is that i have completed wiring the driver side door and each time i press the switch either up or down it only goes a inch up or inch down. Im wiring it right at the motor , can it be that i need to wire the passenger side to before this window modual would work correctly?
