I've got a 12" sub already in a box and the amp that's powering it sitting beside it. I'm looking into getting a CD changer pretty soon and rather than have all 3 things sitting loosely in the trunk I'd like to build a surrounding enclosure to house all 3. My question is could I place the existing box within the enclosure or would that have some adverse affect on the bass?

I've heard that when building custom boxes for your subs you have to get the dimensions exactly right or you can produce some funky sounds. Since I don't want to go through the hassle of building an entire sub-box/enclosure (plus I already have one that works) I figured I'd just throw the existing one inside of something else.

Thanks in advance.

Okay...what about the following:
Build a seperate enclosure just for the the amp and changer and put it off to the side of the existing sub box. Would this still run the risk of interference?

Also, could you recommend any decent locations for the CD changer that wouldn't require too much modification?
