I just wanted everyone to know that my CRVTEC (frankenstein) is now done. I payed a lot but I think it was worth it. I can't take the car above 3500RPM for the first 500 miles. Give me some feedback. I have my B16A block for sale and some JL subwoofers. I need an HID kit.

As far as Boost, Depends on how much more dough I wanna spend, I got like over 13k so far. on the motor I bought a B20z block and used the head off my old b16a and the install cost me around 2200. It is supposed to be between 195 and 235 at the wheels depending on how it is tuned and what else is done. It got out of the shop and went back in today. I had a fuel problem, we think the filter is clogged so new one going in tomorrow

I am in a position to do the same conversion with a fordged and ballenced B20 block .
What I want to know is will this set up survive daily driving on a long term basis. Were do you get an ECU and what must be done to an LS wiering harness to make it work.

Ill tell you that It is torquey and hauls azz to just 3500 rpm. I used an XS Engineering P72 ECU off a 95 GSR. All motor is the most reliable setup you can do. That why I went with it. With wieght in the car and after fuel and internals I should be right around 13. I shoulb be at 14 right now a little over maybe. I have had it for like 12 hours and it is a blast. IT gets hot and still smokes though. I have JL 10w0-12 ohm woofers 2 of them and JL speaker grills and box, Make me an offer

You're gonna love it man. I have loved my B20 ever since I got it put in. Mine isn't a vtec head though. I went with a full B20 swap...Head & all. I'll be dropping a Supercharger on it next year with my tax return though :)

Everyone is right though, the B20 is a torque crazy monster!

For people that don't know, the stock specs on a USpec B20 are:

160hp @ 5500rpm
162lbs of torque @ 3600rpm

That is straight off of Honda's website.
