just wondering how people cover part of their bumper lenses up so only the front part of it shows...what do they use and does that mean their blinker lights dont show?

r u talkin about headlight covers you see a lot on dodge and chevy trucks where it looks like its all black.

quiksilver, i know what you are talking about. i can't find the picture, but it's a black integra with the bumper lens that has the 194 bulb part in it covered with black or red vinyl tape. you can just use vinyl tape or just paint that half. turn signal still works because there are two bulbs.

you change the color of the bulb. as soon as i get my digital camera working with my computer again. (im in the process of moving...) ill try and post some pics of what i did. i changed the 1156 bulb to a red xenon. so at night, half of its red, the other half white. thats the easiest way to do that without using transparent paint. it looks really good.

I just pulled the small (168/194) bulbs out so only the front part lights up now. Looks better at night, imo. Looks fine during the day too, but I have a white Teg, so it blends in with the car fine already. I bet you could get a sheet of some adhesive backed stuff in the color of your car and put it on the section of the lense that the small bulbs light. That way it would blend in with your paint more and make the turn signals look smaller (ie only the front half of it)
