I used to scoff at clear lenses. I thought they looked too out of place...overpowering the rest of the front end. But, now I want them. I think they'll look good with the foglights I'm installing.

I don't want anything too bright and shiny. I realize I might have to tint them, but even so, I'd like some suggestions on what brand to buy and where. I'm looking for something that's all lense, no trim. My teg is black, so the subtler, the better.

Thanks

I love my clear lenses. I think mine are made by depo... They are clear, but kinda frosted. I have a red teg, so i but in 1 bulb hyper red and the other white. yes, i have been pulled over a couple of times for the red, but i just tell the cop, i will put the stock ones back in and i show him the bulbs in the glove box. I would say go for it. clear corners set your teg apart from a normal, stock one. if you dont want it to take away from the look, try putting in orange bulbs.

I also exchanged my lenses for Euro Clears. It makes your teg look soooooo much better then the puke orange. I am thinking about putting on blue lights, but I have yet to do so. I saw someone with them and I thought it looked awesome. And I was just wondering, how do you guys start hooking up your car right after turning 16? I was barely getting by back then. Well its great to hear that you've grown to love Tegs RydinMyIntegra!

does the brand make a difference? you just have to buy what looks good to you.. i had clear corners on my teg in jan of 98.. i remember when they were $80!! of course at import showoff i used my charm to widdle it down to $45.. he he..

what sucked that they got stolen off my teg not a week later when my car was in my driveway.. booo!! but my bf gave me another pair ($25).. after i got the koito super white headlights and foglight bulbs the corners didn't match anymore.. and i grew out of the clear corners thing, also cuz where i live everyone and their mom's 95 accord have clears.. then my bf turned me into a partial jdm freakie deakie..

So what are you suggesting SonicBlue Teg? I've read some of what you've said and I like the way you think. (Old people and lube? You're killin' me!)

I installed the stock Raybrig foglights. I've got ultra whites. What should happen to the bumper lenses?

mine are for sale, they were literally used for a week. i ordered them from inlinefour.com, which if you are familiar with, only sells the highest quality jdm parts.

i also ordered piaa plasma wedge bulbs from inlinefour at the same time, its an HID color and u can have those with the lenses

i have euro clear corners, i think they look better since the headlights are clear, so everything matches...

at first i had hyper white bulbs in my lenses, but then i got fed up with the two bulbs not matchin' in color...so i put amber in them...i love the look of it now...

There's really only two kinds of clear corners. Regular and Euro. The regular kind are usually from APC and the kind you get at Pep Boys. They have the same reflector-like surface on the side like the stock corners do while the front is fully clear. Euros are fully clear on both the front and side which I think looks better. Plus I swore I would never buy anything APC ever again so I have to keep true to that promise for the sake of my car's well being. I got my euro clears at Speed Images down near Fountain Valley for $20. They are the ones you see in my smoke tinted clear corners article.

ho hum.. its kinda hard to find a match(headlights and corner bulbs) without testing out different bulbs.. i've found some that appear too blue too yellow(stock).. put ambers bulbs in them.. rewired so the low filament doesn't stay on.. got a big headache.. finally swapped back in the amber corners.. what can you do? i'm so indecisive.. he he he.. try them out.. i'm sure you'll like them. i do.. if they weren't so mellow yellow... now i want amber sidemarkers.. =P

I have APC euro-style (no reflector) corners. They're perfectly fine. I wouldn't buy performance parts from APC, but for something like this, it works just fine.

As for bulbs, I put the super white ones for the front 1157s and I have amber on the side for the 194s. That way from the front all you can see if the white. From the side, you can see the amber too.. I figure a cop is much less likely to pull me over this way.

In my opinion, they are all basically the same. The only choice you have to make is for regular (with reflectors) or euro (without). Brand really isn't going to make much of a difference. Just find the lowest price.
