Over the last few weeks I've noticed that my VIS cf hood dosen't have that nice glossy shine to it anymore. It's a bit more cloudy. Is it possible that it has become oxidized from the heat? What else could cause it? HOw could I fix it? Im gonna try a klasse/platnium one-two punch on it and see what happens.
Thanks

clay bar is more for contamination than oxidation. While some clay bars to have some abrasives, I would address oxidation with a polish or cleaner.

Try a mild cleaning compound, and see if that helps. I really don't know about CF's oxidization ability.

I've had the hood since May, bought it used from a guy that said he had it only a month before me. Used some Klasse AIO and Platnium wax and that seemed to do the trick.

Would Meguiar's Clear Coat Scrub damage CF?
I wouldn't think so. The resin is pretty tough and is similar to clear coat. I think it would be fine to use.
