my 99 ls throwing code p1457. I've done a search and found what it means. I just want to know if it is safe to drive for the next week or so? I don't have the money to fix it right now, next payday I will though.

you are fine, had the same code when I swapped IM, had to rearrange some vacuum lines to get it to go away. Unfortunately there are a lot of possibilities of what could be throwing the code. Try the Helms, it will give you all the troubleshooting you need
