i got a code 16 in my 94 ls how easy of a fix is this while i was driving the light came on and wouldnt go ove 3000 rmp is this common with a code 16

According to my list....CEL 16 is a fuel injector.

You're probably going to have to use an ohm meter and check each injector until you find on that does read what it should. I'll have to consult the other 15oo pages of stuff I have to find out what those numbers are for ya lol

No problem man. Alright, I searched the service manual..and here's what you'll have to do.

Take the clip off of the injector, and my using an ohm meter, stick the 2 probes from the ohm meter onto the connections of the injector. They should read 10-13 ohms. Measure all of your injectors.

:edit: I would post the page of this in the service manual, but the jackoff I got it from used password security and disabled all copying functions!

i found the problem its actually the clip that goes onto the fuel injector it wont stay clipped on. I changed the injector and it still wont clip on anything you can think of to fix it?

alright so I have an LS/Vtec boosted s100... and im getting a CEL 16 and I hear this ticking sound from the head the fuel pressure is 43psi most of the time and I havn;t felt anything to make me think its fuel related.... any ideas?

i have the same ticking sound coming from my head/ im i would suspect it to be your injectors. use the information screamin teg said you may have a faulty injector or as j98tt said one of his injectors wont stay clipped in.

Ticking is normal. Fuel injectors make this noise as they pulse on/off.

yeah the fuel injector tick is normal, but mine is much more extreme. and i have friends with gsr s that tick but to no extent as mine. i will figure it out is so damn annoyying
