I was watching MTV true life IM A STREET RACER last night (as everyone should have) and I realized all my mods are legal but I have no documentation saying they are. Can I buy carb legal stickers or what kind of documentation do I need? I dont want to get a ticket I dont deserve.

I dont know but i was reading up on a "SCC" article and they say you need all these stickers and paperwork. Are cops really that strict about modifications.

My header has the CARB # welded on a primary, most that are CARB legal do. My intake came with a sticker. A cat back exhaust doesn't need any documentation. If your equipment is legal it should have come with the documentation. Call the company and ask if it's legal and if they will send you the documentation. The number is what is needed; that is what identifies the part. I live in CA, and they are strict here. Definitely need the documentation to get it smogged which is needed to register. Haven't been pulled over and hassled, although I believe it does happen here. I'm don't how it works in other states. I do know emission laws are getting strict everywhere.

when my hood was replaced after i got into an accident, all the manufactor stickers were gone, is there anyway to get new ones?

don't even worry about that unless ur in ca where the cops might even ask u too open your hood just too see what u have under the hood
