I looked on here, and couldn't find any info on my problem. BUT! i have a 96 ls, and i'm changing the back brakes. I have everything done EXCEPT i can't get the piston compressed enuff to get it back on! Is there some trick to getting this thing compressed more so it'll go on? If anybody has anyinfo, let me know. thanks.

you have to spin the rear piston back in, you can't compress it. A search would have told you this.

you have to turn it and push it in at the same time.

sorry I assumed that you were turning it already lol.

you should not have to push the piston in at all... use something to turn it clockwise to push it back in...also i little tip spray some lube on the dust boot around the piston so you will not tear or severly mangle it, when you return the piston back to the home position...

Yeah, push and turn as hard as you can, then slap it on there quickly before the piston starts to come back out.

thanks guys for the help. It was killing me trying to figure that out, and go figure, it was that easy. Oh and i broke a C clamp trying to compress it. Strong ass honda stuff. Gotta love it.
