I am in the process of buying parts to rebuild my b18b. I would like to turbo it in the future but I don't have the budget at the moment for all the turbo parts. I'm wondering if there will be any harm in building the motor with low comp pistons and running it na for a while. If there is already a thread on this I couldn't find it.

Zero issue. You need to break a new engine in without boost anyways. I raised the compression in my b18b when I turbocharged it. Find a decent tuner and you’ll be fine. I did 9:1 if I remember correctly.
