Local track i run at does not allow adjustable cam gears. I can have up to 10% more lift. B18c5 11.6 static compression ratio. My question is, should i just stick with type r cams if i cant adjust? Thanks.

Question, what is preventing you from running adjustable cams? is it the track for some safety concerns, is it a racing league with modification limits, etc?

Reason i ask is with my solo racing class under SCCA rules. you're not allowed certain OEM modifications either (AKA can't swap ITR, GSR and LS factory components or JDM/EPDM/USDM parts).

I guess I would just throw a stock set (for that engine) on there then. As far as i know the gear sizes are the same across the B engines or at least they are for the LS, GS, GSR, etc.

I was looking at skunks pro 1s. Aggressive but mild enough to get by without adjusting cam timing. Im not sure if it would be worth it or even be better than stock
