This is a question about the CAI. I know that a cai can suck up water, so I assume it can also suck up snow. Am I right in thinking this? This is not a debate about how common hydrolock is or if a bypass valve is useful or not, so lets leave that sensative area alone, ok?

i would say it could not suck up snow...one because the bumper would move the snow out of the way...and what it dosent move there is plastic on the bottom to protect it...and even if it passes that it would be hard for it to get around the filtter...i wouls say don't worry about it...i am not and i live where it is snowy all the time

your not gonna suck up water either unless the filter is fully submerged.

lol nvm i'm not even gonna argue, but just so u know, the front bumper generally clears snow lower than the filter on the cai, therefore there's no chance it could be fully submerged, in other words, i'm not so sure you did know that...
