Ok, so whenever I accelerate significantly my brake light indicator comes on. I've search all the "brake light wont turn off" threads but mine goes off after i have accelerated.

i agree, check that first. if your level is ok, the float switch could be bad.

i agree my girls g2 had similar prob an brake fluid was low topped it off an lite went off

mine used to do that in cold weather, i used to take the hwy to work and when i got off the hwy my brake light on my panel would stay on for a while. it doenst do it anymore and i didnt change a thing, my levels were ok so i just left it lol

This is most likely it, and that is exactly what all the previous threads about this topic say.

Take the cap off, check fluid. If it's low fill it up, and either way shake the crap out of the cap to help dislodge the float sensor.

It will probably do it again the next day, so just shake it or ignore the light
