about 3 days ago my boost levels started acting up. Suddenly on low boost my boost controller allows 9 lbs. all of a sudden with all the settings at 0 the boost level climbs up to 19 lbs and then breaks up. i tested the wastegate and it is fine, how do i check if the selenoid in the boost controller is bad or the boost controller itself? any ideas?

before you go into the controller, etc. are you sure that you do not have any boost leaks anywhere? like loose bolts on the manifold, loose/missing vacuum lines?

how did you test the wastegate? what type of wastegate is it? what type of boost controller?
More importantly what manifold are you using.... that is what most commonly causes boost creep.... a poor wg placement.
