hey guys, this may seem like a stupid question, but for the boost gauge, does the line and fitting attach to the screw hole on the compressor side of the turbo by the opening?

i was looking at the instructions, and it says to put it into the manifold vacuum hose only for vacuum guages, it had a separate diagram for pressure and turbo gauges, which leads me to believe it doesnt go into the manifold vacuum hose for a turbo. am i wrong?

You want to measure manifold pressure, so attach it to the intake manifold. The easiest way is to put a "T," in the stock vacuum line of the fuel pressure regulator. Takes all of 10 seconds to do.
