I accidentally parked my car right underneadth my garage and my grandma closed the garage right on my hood. It left a dent probably 2-3 inches long. I've looked around 2 shops and I get quotes for $300+. That sounds ridiculous for a small dent fix or is that the going rate for work like this? Does anybody know any shops in the San Diego area that will fix the dent and repaint my hood cheap? Thanks in advance.

That's a MAJOR rip off. Look for some paintless dent removal place. Should be around $100.

Thats probably a little high. To repaint mine and remove a small dent was 200.00 So I just went CF and was done with it.

Yup... try finding somebody that has their hood for sale (same color of course)

Local would be best, even driving up to LA if you have to. You could probably get one for ~100 or even less since those are generally hard items to sell.
