Recently I have had problems here and there starting my teg. I realized that each time I couldn't start it, all I had to do was pop the hood and wiggle the positive cable and rotate it around the post a little til I heard the door chime. It solved the immediate problem, but it sucked to have to reprogram all my presets and worry if my alarm is actually armed, so I cleaned the posts of the battery with a wire brissle, hooked it up again and now it wont start at all. It's acting like the battery is almost fully drained. I tried to jump it for like 5 minutes, but all I got was a brighter interior light. Any comments?

first off...
your post shouldnt be loose enough to be able to twist and turn

second..
you should fully pull off the cable, clean the post and clamp with a wire bush and then resecure so it doesn't wiggle.....

that's the reason i'm getting a new positive terminal. the oem one is really loose even with the bolt tightened all the way. you can just lift it on and off the terminal with no effort.
