i just wanted some opinions. i have a 99 gsr and i have a chance to buy a ball-bearing t3 turbo for $300. should i do it or just go with the t3/t4 setup like i had originally planned?

What T3 is it ? Maker ? From what Kit ? Used ?

it is a used garret t3 but i dont know what its from.

Well there ya have it...300$ not bad at all man...Jump on it ! You can do the "wiggle test" make sure the shaft does not wiggle alot if it feels tight your probally good to go...You could open her up and take a look make sure she looks all purdy inside...if not its not that expensive to upgrade and repair them....

Hope you know the person so he doesnt rip you off. He might just be saying its a bb turbo. That is a little too cheap if you ask me.
