I’ve been working on getting my 2000 Acura Integra back on the road after 7 years of sitting with the previous owners bought it back in June of last year and rebuilt the top part of the engine including the head and so forth…recently I finally got it started again and check engine light came on right a way with misfire on cylinder 1 and 3. Things I’ve replaced so far Spark plugs and wires, waiting on a new distributor to get here, going to do a compression test once the distributor gets here. Other than that injectors seem to be working properly…my other concern is that my ECU can’t seem to get the timing for the distributor right it’s hopping around from 14 and 17 degrees could this possibly be causing the misfire also? Please if someone could give me advice that would be great.

I really don’t know what the lash valve measurements are I haven’t check, timing for the cams are correct, and my plan was to jump the ECU when the new distributor gets here so I could line it up.
