Hey all. I have a 91 teg with 90,000 on the stock engine. I really want more low end power so i'm leaning towards boring out the engine to around 2.0L. My question is, money for performance wise, should i go ahead and bore it out and re-sleeve OR should i just get a b20 or h22A block? I do realize the bigger blocks are heavier, but i am just looking for an opinion. Thnx!!!

uhhhhh i'd rather bore

and you wanting to bore it out to 85mm (which should get you 2.0L) you would HAVE to resleeve

not to mention h22a would make you have to remove some stuff that you may still want to use and the b20 will just make you spend more money when you can just bore out and resleeve the block you have

btw nice miles on the engine

boring will cost ya about as much as a b20 motor maybe little less, prob in the 500s I got my b20 for 760 with 38K with papers but I love my b20 but at same time when I was boosting it never cracked but was always worried it would. just up to u really comes out to almost same price i think
