ok the only mod is the dc header, and its the p30 ecu not sure if it has been tuned, i was wondering if i should reset the ecu because of the previous owner using 87 octane, not sure if its the usdm or jdm engine how would i tell. so anyone else what you think i have been using 91.

If the motor is stamped with B16A3, it's USDM. JDM motors don't have the final number (B16A instead).

My guess is that it needs 91 or better.

so i should reset the ecu and change the plugs immediately, so then will the previous owner using 87 would trip the o2 sensor and the knock sensor. if i reset the ecu will the o2 and knock still trip.
