The C8's bronze color looks different than the Slipstream bronze in every picture I've seen. Are my eyes deceiving me or are they actually different?

prolly looks different b/c the wheels are different. ur lookin at a really thin spoke on teh c8 and a nice thick one on the slipstream. the paint is prolly the same but itll lay differntly. plus if tehy use the same painting process and lay the same number of coats on all their wheels then the paint will look a little different on the c8 becase of the smaller area.

There is also bronze, royal bronze, and sports bronze choices for the Slips, and Bronze, Royal Bronze and Full Royal Sports Bronze in the circuit 8's. There are different bronzes yes, so that could be what you were seeing.

The bronzes in different light will also change the perception on the color.

I have owned both....the sports bronze is darker and appears more like an anodization....the regular bronze is obviously powdercoated and looks a bit goldish in the light
