hey just like the title says.. are KYB GR-2 going to be alright with tein h-techs.i know KYB's GR-2's arent the best for big drops and high spring rates but my h-techs arent that bad. they have a 1.7" 296 front and 0.9" 256 rear.what do you guys think?

you should be fine on the KYB GR2's if this is for daily driving and what not.

I just have been reading that the GR2s are oem replacement and will not last long with lower spirings. I may just buy them myself for a 1.8 drop and hope they last me.

In vest your money for some Koni Reds. IMO, the best non-adjustable shock/strut brand AND quality out there.

I have the AGXS and that is what i would recomend. you can get the off ebay for around $300 shipped.

KYB GR2s will last you about a yr with a drop. My 2 cents.

i have kyb gr2's and tein s. tech springs.. been on there for about 2 or 3 months.. havent had any complaints

alright i found out some info on the GR-2.
apparently they are good for up too 1.5" drops.
and they can hold a 318 spring rate in the front and a 180 springs rate in the rear. so this means
Tein springs
front - 1.7 - 296lbs
rear - 0.9 - 250lbs

GR-2 shocks
front -1.5 - 318lbs
rear - 1.5 - 180lbs

the drop in the front is a little more then what there recomended for but less of a springs rate so it should be alright. but in the rear less of a drop but alot more springs rate
