It looks really sweet....a non-oiling open-element cold air kit. This means that no sensors or whatever can get screwed up from too much oil! Is anyone using this intake? It is $188.

i was just going to post the same question...anyone use it and if you do is there a bigger gain compared to the k&n filter?

it's a foam filter which filters less...more crap can get in to the engine...it's a short ram with a short ram's powerband location preference higher in the rpm range. The ram tube length and it's diameter affects the powerband location in a single plenum IM design layout which is the type of IM we use on these tegs.

the short ram's outer diameter is critical...you want 3 in. minimum near the filter opening.

Don't overthink intakes. Pick one and move onto bigger and better things.

That test is so old.....and I call total BS on those horsepower gains.
