I'm ordering an ITR spoiler non-led on monday, should be getting it in 10-13 days, just wanted to know if anyone could do it, i got a 97 LS with no spoiler, so some holes will have to be drilled. Let me know, and how much you will charge. Thanks

Get a drill. Get a dremel. Open you trunk and look on the udner side, you will see where the holes for the Type R spoiler are punched out. All you need to do is drill those holes out. Then take the dremel to smooth it down on the top. Then attach wing. ITS SIMPLE. There's no reason to pay someone.

don't forget to use some rtv sealnt in the holes to prevent rust and maybe some rubber tape between the wing and hatch to prevent ratteling and squeeks

You should be fine if the wing has a good gasket on it. The sealant is a good idea though.

Are you getting a spoilerdepot wing? Then it will come with everything you need to attach it. If you need help, I could help you if you are near Hampton. I had to put on my wing cause I was spoilerless. Just thank god you are. The holes left by the GSR wing suck.

Too far from Hampton, but thanks for your willingness to help. I assume you got yours from spoilerdepot. How long did it take for your spoiler to arrive??

when you drill the holes for type r spoiler: do you drill in the center or the hole or to the side and what size bit?
