I found this browsing honda-acura.net and was wondering if anyone else thought of this. When I was installing my Cool Blues, the white plastic part from the harness came out and was stuck in my bulb socket. I had to get some needlenose pliers to take them out. I never thought of putting the bulb in without that plastic piece. Anyways, here it is.

I've posted this information a couple of times here on this board. I know of a few members that have tried it. Its an awesome modification that requires zero skill and about 5 minutes to do. Definatly do it.

whats the difference from the regular size bulb to the 9005?

9006 and 9005 are pretty much the same in style but 9006 is for low beams and 9005 is high. 9005 can be modified to fit in the 9006 slot. click here this should help.

is a 60 w bulb going to melt the wiring in the low beam slot? the othr bulb is 55w, correct? i want to do the tab thing and get brights in there, and plug it in easy as that, but if it will melt the wiring or short something, i won't.

It won't melt it, i've running mine for over a year now. But don't do it with the cool blues, much better if you use the Silverstars.

ok..i hadnt seen that article yet. thanks for the info...im probably going to do that, i hate how dim my lights look. Thanks!!!
