i recently put in a new battery and switched the gauge cluster bulbs from stock to the ones that make it look JDM. and when i put my window down or open my sun roof i can see the all the instrument's lights dim; the gauge cluster, cruise control button and climate control. any ideas?

as far as what i know/learned/read here usually this occurs due to bad ground, make sure the ground wire to the new battery is secured really well

my car (as well as all of my friends who have honda's and acura's like 6 of them) do the same thing, its just a Honda/Acura curse, it only dims for a second right?? i mean they go back to bright as soon as the window rolls down because that is normal if so...if they stay dim all the time i would begin to worry about that and then at that point i would check all of your grounds like jofrad said to do
