Ok, so i bought a set of these things thinking "Hey, this must be simple, just copy the template onto the quarter panel, drill a hole, screw it down, and wallah"
So then i pop my hood. I forgot about that peice of sheet metal called an ENGINE BAY, that my quarter panel connects to. So now here i sit, bewildered.
Do i get like a foot long drill bit and just drill through both? Do i REMOVE my quarter panel first? I didnt think it would be this confusing.
I know a few of you installed them yourself, so what did you guys do? Thanks for anyone that helps me out in advance.

I believe the fender trim is the black plastic-like material that lines the wheel well. It often gets covered with dirt and road grime, and it sometimes protected by splash guards. If I remember correctly, there are 4 or 5 bolts that hold it in place. I did this once ago, and it should take only a minute or two to remove. I hope this helps, scoupe91

Well, i finally installed the side marker lights, thanks for everyones help. the INSTALL went absolutely perfect, however the company APC should be shut down. has ANYBODY EVERRRRR got ANYTHING from APC, that actually works correctly? the tail lights leak, thier intakes slip off, and so on.
These lights are the first APC product i ever bought, even though everyone says the brand sucks..i was like "ahh, i'll give em a shot, only 14.99"

Well well well...low and behold, they BLOW! the bottom half goes in perfect, sealed and all...but the lens cap wont click in, and it keeps falling off. this sucks so bad, i cant take em out now due to the 3/4" hole in my quarter panel, so i guess its time for good old super glue....this is so gay. christ i hate this company!

NOOOOO!!!!! Don't use super glue on that plastic lense. The chemicals in the glue will make the platic all foggy, and you won't be able to get it off. I bought APC sidemarkers and when i was installing them the lense clip broke off and i glued it back with "SUPER GLUE" and it came out all crappy. So i took em out and bought some JDM style markers off ebay.

Plus you won't be able to change the lights anymore.....if the lights went out.

I have the apc sidemarkers as well. When putting on the lense, a handy lil flat head screw driver really helps. You need to kinda pry the seal a little so the lense will fit on tightly. I have no problems what so ever...it fits perfectly.

Hmm....well lucky for me, i didnt have any glue around me..so i went back to pep boys, and inspected the side marker kinds they had there. all the protruding oval types that i looked at had the same problem..the tops wont stay on. However i found FLUSH ovals, witch i like better but werent there the other day...and there's 4 clips instead of 2 on each light..and it CLICKS in, tight as hell!...only downfall is that i have to find a way to turn this circle i cut into my fender....into a square...any idea of what will cut thru sheetmetal smoothly?

hehe...

funny about the installation aspect. half the people who rave about something don't install it themself....

when I first started tuning I bought a header for an "easy" install that should take "about 30mins"....4 hours later I ended up bolting the stock header on hehe....

Try www.driverfx.com

They have a tonne of stuff. I am just new to the game but I really enjoy just surfing through that site and seeing all of the stuff that we can do. They have a whole section on just Integra.

Check it out and let me know if they are competitive on pricing.
