Recently I was in a minor accident. The car is fine but the raditor support, hood, driver's side headlight, bumber, and drivers side fender need replacing. Im using this as oppertunity to do a jdm front end conversion and to do some other work on the car. While ive been doing the work and waiting for the parts to come ive been not driving the car, and i plan on not driving it until i finish. Is it neccesary to drive the car at least ocasionally to prevent any sort of damage? Also i had a problem a few weeks ago where some dumb mechanics decided it would be a good idea to drill a hole in my raditor support (arg) and they left metal shavings all over the engine. Could this be harmful to the car and also what would be the best/easiest way to get rid of them?
