Hey , I’ve got a dc2r 96 spec

Basically factory other than
Headers (bit banged up)
Plm muffler
Msd leads

I’ve also got a Vafc II and a cold air feed just waiting to install.

I’m wanting to get it on the dyno and tuned using the vafc II within the next 2 months and need some help on what else to do to see the most gains

I’ve got a budget of around 2-3k to spend on parts, any advice or what you would do in this situation would b great, cheers.

Get rid of that VAFC. Those were used a very long time ago as a piggy-back solution, when other tuning solutions weren't yet available. There's a ton of other products (Hondata for example) that you can have a full tuning solution.

VAFC's have no ignition controlling, and most shops won't even spend their time with them.

Can't give you advice for parts unless you tell us a HP goal. Throwing parts at it is "lego building". Choose a HP goal, and research the necessary products/parts that work well with each other, that will get you to your goal.

Thanks man what I’ve been needing to hear, don’t really have a goal in mind, 140-150wkw would be good enough for me
