So I have a 97 USDM GSR and I want to get a JDM Front Clip which is $1300 from HMO LA or $900 from JDM of San Diego. But the one from San Diego is advertised as “98-01”.

I was wondering what are the differences between the 94-97 jdm fronts and the 98-01 jdm fronts. I know it has to do something with the headlights but I wanna know if there is other differences.

More specifically, is there a difference that would be an issue with me putting a “98-01” JDM front on my 97 USDM GSR.
Thanks.

They are all "swapable" the only difference is the look of the front and rear bumpers, and headlights. but a 94-97 bumper (front and rear) will bold up to a 98-01 car. and vice versa. however, if you change the front bumper, you will need the appropriate headlights.
