Hey guys I searched the forums but couldnt find the information I needed. I plan on doing a 9005 Silverstar conversion here pretty soon, and was wondering...is it necessary to take off the front bumper to install the bulbs? Sorry for the noob question lol.

no , you turn the back socket and they come out

more specifically- you pop you hood and you can see the wiring for the headlights lights on the reverse side. Undo the wiring plug and turn the bumbs to release them from the headlight housing.

YO! Jared its not that hard. First you just pop the hood Turn the Blulb socket just like what marix66 said and done there you go. It is very simple, if you don't try then you'll never know.

i wouldn't go for it. only the g3 94+ tegs have projector lights...whatever the heck that means lol. yea something about the light housing...anyone care to be more specific?

just a sugestion here i did that 9005 conversion and the light dosent last that long for some reason i dunno y but i did it 3 times before i said screw this.

also make sure you don't touch the glass part of the bulb with your fingers. If you get skin oil/dirt on them it tends to burn them out pretty quick.

The 2nd gen uses a totaly different bulb so the conversion isnt possible . G2 is 9004 .
