Hi,

I bought a 3" inlet filter to replace my 2 yr old cold air intake filter not knowing that I actually had 2.5" intake pipe all along.
Is there a way to put 3" inlet filter on 2.5" pipe?

thanks

you mean force the rubber part of the filter that connects to the pipe using the clamp provided?

I'll try to force it to fit first. When I try to install this filter few months back, I didn't even try it on hoping I could get it refunded. but it didn't happen and the filter is sitting in my garage.

Oh, by the way the intake I have is the generic cold air intake, not the stock air box. The one that goes into the wheel well.
