Im getting new tires putting on Stock 15" rims prob next week or the week after. My teg is droped 1.7" front and rear I was thinking about some Dunlop 9000 (Z rated) size 195/50-15 because its cheaper or should I stick with the orig size 195/55-15 there is no fender gap at all, I cant stick my finger at all between the fender and the top part of the tire. My question is will the 195/50-15 will hurt it or should I stick with thr orig size 195/55-15?

By the way I did read the article and formues most of it was moving 195 to 205.

Forgot to mention that technically it would be better because you would have lower gear ratios and the unsprung weight of the tire would be less.

It all adds up to better acceleration!

Oh yeah, and smaller sidewall equals better turning capability!

Cool thanks, I think it will look better (195/50-15) then the orig tire size (195/55-15). I hope it will give me a little gap in the fender with the 195/50-15.

This is the pic with the orig tires 195/55-15.

I think its best to stick with the orig tire size thanks swift it took me awhile to understand the chart.
I dont want to fool around with the speedometer.
