i own a 1990 integra ls the block is about toasted so i was wondering if it was possible to put an 01 type r engine in it and what would i need too do that...

Sorry to do it but I can't help myself. Do you see the little grey and orange/yellow blinking icon on the left side of this thread, it says search on it. You might want to use that, instead of wasting bandwidth. You could also try looking in the common topics. That's what that little icon w/the eyes on it is for in the top right hand corner. All this was in the guidelines when you joined this site. Try following the rules or go troll on another site.

yes you can. you would need a Helms manual and an engine hoist. it's a straight drop in to your gen 2 without having to get an adapter mount kit (eg. Hasport) or welding on a mount.
