History
I acquired my 1999 Acura Integra GSR last year in July. Prior to this Integra, I owned a 1998 Integra GS between late 2014 and mid 2015. I was stupid and sold that 98 GS. I told myself I would be back in the Integra game soon, and well, I stumbled across "Emi" in July of last year. At the time, I was living in Alabama with my (now) ex-fiancee... Long story short, I was at work and browsing through Facebook on my break and spotted a 1999 Integra GSR for sale for $1,000 posted by a buddy back home, here in VA. I immediately messaged him and inquired about the car. He said it ran and ran good, but needed a little T-L-C. He said the car is a GSR, but the previous owner blew up the B18C1, so it had a full LS swap instead of the beloved GSR power-plant. I haggled with him for a little bit and negotiated in the fact that I would be traveling over 700 miles to buy this car and then get it back to Alabama. We agreed on $800, and well, here she is, over a year later! I gave her the name "Emi" because of her Jade Green Pearl color that had a nice nearly Emerald shade shine in direct sunlight. The name seemed fitting to the car's personality as well. This car and I have an extreme love-hate relationship, but I won't ever part ways with this car. Even though she is an absolute pain in my arse and wallet, I love her to death!
