Gearing II: Thrust Curves and Calculations

If you are reading this, I assume that you have read SurferX's article on Torque Multiplication and final drives. Now final drive swaps are a great way to increase acceleration and unlock much needed torque, however this does come at a cost. Running a short final drive places your engine higher in the power-band in normal every day driving which can get irritating. How do we solve this? Enter the world of the hybrid transmission.

We were blessed with our B series transmissions...
