Got in a little bit of a fender bender with one of those idiots who thinks they need to come to a COMPLETE stop before making a turn today. With evasive maneuvers it ended up being only a scrape on my bumper and a crumpled fender...

So anyone out there got a driver's side fender for G3 for sale? Preferrable Milano Red. Let me know what you have!!

BTW, at least it was the fender that was already a little scratched up... hmph...

Oh, and anyone with a Milano Red 94-97 bumper FS, reply here too. It's not a need, but more of a want.

Wait, I gotta ask? Are you talking about a stop sign? Because in that case, at least in oregon, if a cop sees you not stop all the way, thats a ticket right there. Not that I always do, but you cant really fault anyone that does. I mean any rear end accident, short of getting cutoff, can be blamed on the person behind. I never even come remotely close to ever even getting in a situation where I might theoreticly rearend someone after my accidents, I've learned my damn lesson lol.

br1t1shguy - No, not a stop sign. Just a regular right turn that should be able to be made at AT LEAST 10 MPH. It was really wet outside and I could feel my car sliding a little, so I instinctively went to the right into the grass. The grass being wet made it slide even worse and I prob wouldn't have hit with another 5 feet or less to slide.

sorce_money - I'll get ahold of you on AIM when I'm at home.

I might have one as well not sure of the condition yet though. Working out a deal for a complete front, but all I need is the pass. fender, hood the bumper cover. I should have a lip and driver side fender up for grabs.

thanks,
Mike

Even though it seems stupid, these people are completely within their rights to do this, since any time you hit someone from the rear, YOU are at fault regardless of anything else.

Watch out for people doing this, and always assume they will: there's two reasons for it. 1) they're old and stupid, or 2) they're poor, and they're trying to get you to hit them so they can sue your insurance. #2 is very prevalent in economically depressed areas (like the whole southeast).
