I liked the dark on the previous version. You could just reuse that style imo.

On a positive note I like the note pointing out that a post is from the OP. If there could be an option to filter out everything but posts by the OP that'd be awesome. It was one of the best features Z created previously, again imo.

The drag and drop for pictures is sweet as well.

The little quick nav thing at the top of the page is bugging me a bit... While I do like that it pops free, it's very jerky... Would it be possible to make it slide instead of 'snap' free?

It looks like nothing was optimized for different screen sizes very well.

Yep, I get a facepalm for missing the relocated subscriptions link. Oops. Sorry.

The Buyers Resource really doesn't offer much help to a new buyer, especially since this site is about cars that haven't been produced in anywhere from 9 to 27 years, and the information the links point to isn't useful to that market.

The banner really needs rework. The PS job on the white 4dr is atrocious. If there's a way to make the nice big multicar banner that was teased work, that would be a huge improvement.

I have no issue with the back end changes from what I've seen so far. Drag and drop attachments are nice, the speed bump is noticable. My complaints are all about the skin, which is totally an aesthetic change, and goes against several normalized rules of design for websites. New users signing up for the first time may not notice the issues, but for the many thousands who were here 'before' it's a big slide downhill for information density and usability.

And yes, part of that comes from how different it now looks from almost every other forum out there. Being different for difference' sake..well...my opinion is well know now.

As far as the mod tools link, I see it where it always was, way down in the bottom menu. Probably the one thing for me that didn't change.

Can we just ditch the bar on the right completely? It serves no purpose except for being an eyesore.

This is a screen shot from github using a custom script based theme, but it's pretty close to what I like to see in a 'dark' website theme:

I'll ask if this is possible as a second skin

not feeling this "new" look. to much clutter and to cookie cutter like the other sites they manage.

I think a "other vehicles/import" sub-section would be a nice addition. I feel like I can't post unless it involves my integra LOL. I suppose could use the regional section, but, my better judgment tells me to keep out. As for the site upgrades, once we make our way around and get adjusted I think we will all enjoy. Similar feeling are expected, it's like going from a 1970's datsun to a tesla, it's a lot to soak up; All the bell's and whistles will take some getting use to.

It was in the top bar? On it's own or in the Tools menu?
