while it won't help with loading the (uggghh) ads, you can "collapse" the Ride of the Month stuff:

With Chrome you can install the Adblock extension and it gets rid of all the ads on this site and many others.

Looks like the chat stopped working altogether now. I don't know if this is a temporary thing or not, but I have screenshot of what shows up, and have confirmed reports from others that they also get this:

"The Value of Life can be measured by how many times your soul has been deeply Stirred." - Soichiro Honda

[CONEV8R] 10:53 pm: err.... i mean, head gasket

Didn't want to start a new thread

Anybody else notice that the search bar disappears once you search for something? If I type in a search, I get the page of results but the search bar is gone. If I want to type in a new search, I have to back to the home page as it is not on the page with search results.

I use Firefox on my work (mac) and personal computer (windows) but I've noticed this with chrome and my phone

Why?

it's a completely different issue, it should be in a new thread

relax man, there was zero scolding, just pointing out that your issue and this thread were two completely different issues and should be different threads... that's the best way to get AutoGuide to notice and hopefully fix your issue

No sweat, didn't have an issue even if you were scolding me (but now I know you weren't).

I have to say though, this site uses a very "unique" architecture. I wonder what it's built on

It's at the bottom of every page. Just scroll down and read the little type.

95 EJ1 Milano RIP/died/sold -> 98 DB7 CSM RIP/totalled -> 97 DB7 CSM Awful. Sold it back. -> 01 DB8 YR525M RIP/totalled -> 06 Civic LX daily -> 1991 CRX HF (YT)

Integra friends are the best friends.

It's just vBulletin with a ton of modifications...

Before I sold the site to AutoGuide this site was running on 90% my own code, which made it super easy for me to customize, add on, and maintain... but i sold it and they migrated it, so it's no longer "mine" :-)
dpaton and dudeskee1325 like this.

Gotcha, props on that though! Musta been bitter sweet selling it but at least you're still part of it

vBulletin is foreign to me, no wonder I can't make heads or tails of it!
