Thoughts on 17x8 inch rims.

Hi all,I have a stock 95 integra and have some 17x8 inch rims in the garage,I'm thinking of 215/35r17 for the tyres...I. am no expert and very new to this so hoping someone can give me some advice from experience.
Thanks in advance.

I'd personally stick to 215/40/R17 to preserve the rims. Give them some extra cushion. The roads are not perfect, as you know.

What is the offset on the 17x8" rims? This will determine if the 215-40-17 will fit or not.

One more thing do you know you have to roll the fender to fit the 17s.

About time I can now apply for Historic Tags for my GS/VTEC Automatic and no more SMOG

17's are pretty huge on these cars. You will most likely rub and you'll feel the road harshness a lot more bc your tires will be so thin. I'd recommend selling and stepping down to 16's or 15's, but if you do go 17 then your tire choice is correct.

215/40/17 should be fine. I’m running 17x9 +20 offset. I’m stretch running 205/40/17. Depending on your offset you will need a camber kit to adjust if slammed and rubbing. You can check my build in my signature and see the setup I’m running. Last page.

Yo your car looks good! I can't believe you don't rub with 17x9 though.

Thanks boss. I do rub on my fronts if I have passengers. I rolled the rear fenders. I set the camber to barely clear couple pieces of paper.

That’s not too much. Depending on the style 17” is perfect. These are my type c on my integra. It’s for sale too!
