I always look at this forum for pictures of setups, and recently asked a question about fitting 195/45 tires on a 8 inch wide wheel, which didn't lead to any useful answers. so I thought I would kill a few birds here.
first of all, 195/45 tires fit on a 15x8 WITHOUT a cheetah tank nor hairspray. just threw soapy water on the bead of the tire and no issue. (at least with toyo proxes t1r's) as a matter of fact, my coworkers were very surprised to see how quickly and easily I mounted them.
second. you CAN fit 15x8's with zero offset and NO fender roll/pull nor a camber kit with this size tire, and it looks really good imo, so long as you like the stretched tire look. Mind you this is not a huge stretch and im not slammed to the point where im tucked.
heres what i got-
a '95 integra LS (or gs? says ls on the title)
195/45 toyo proxes t1r's
15x8 JNC wheels that I got for $400 brand new.
some random gold rear LCA's that I only got because the bushings in my stock ones were so toast that the strut bolt seized in the bushing
heres some pictures. dont mind my paint, that fix is coming soon
