Running Log: MorningZ's GSR (Getting her back together and running)

Integra = fully up and operational... it never was the ECU, it ended up being speed sensor plug. Car is fully alive now !!!

With the speed sensor unplugged the ECU never saw a load on the engine, so it was going into launch mode (because of the tune). So that WHOLE entire time it was just that this was simply unplugged... sometimes you're just too close to something and miss something obvious.

Excellent eagle eyes by Jeff, K2, Pat and Ricky to notice that

Bwwwaaaahhhhs = restored

My time with the car has come to an end as of this morning. Away she goes up to Kentucky!

I bought it October 13th, 2005 (4400+ days), drove it in at least 10 states (including all the way across the county in Cali), spent countless time on her, too-much-to-even-comprehend money on it, but it was all worth it and I'm glad it's going to someone i'm comfortable knowing that the car will live on!

New running log by new owner for the car is here: https://www.team-integra.net/forum/20...on-legacy.html

I was just thinking this morning, "I wonder if Z sold his car yet?" It's gotta be a bitter-sweet thing though to see the car you spent so much time on/with up on a trailer leaving your sight. I know it was when i sold mine.

Best of luck with the new ride, I remember when that car came to Cali for the TI canyon runs. It brought the worst storm I have ever driven in. The memories of that blue teg will live on!!!

Z!!! what are you driving now? Man, haven't been on here for a long time. Seeing everyone move on from their original dc's moved me a bit.

I've had this Focus RS since Sept of 2017. It's been a fun car thus far, but not w/o it's issues, but overall I love it.

Quite a different delivery of power in terms of amount and flow than the ol' GSR was

So, the other day I saw a used JRSC setup on ebay. And I watched as the price got just out of my range and I started thinking, that would really be a fun addition to my car. Then I started thinking, who had a JRSC build thread that I can browse to see what I would need/be in for? Then I immediately came to this thread. So even after reading all of the ups and downs with the supercharger, I still think if i can acquire one for the right price I'm going to go that route - after I get the car back on the road of course...

I also went back through from page 1 and went through all 463 pages here and there over the last month, this is my favorite build log anywhere. The car evolved so much from the beginning and the detail you put into the build thread is fantastic. Hope all is well Z!

.

And you can see how many times I changed my mind on just about anything and everything! lol

One warning in today's time: one-off parts for the kit will be VERY hard to come by as Moss Motorsports (who owns Jackson now) had told me years ago that some parts were down to the last few on the shelves and "this was it".

If you want to muse around the install manual, here it is:

http://ftlracing.com/instructions/gsr_instructions.pdf

I still track this thread, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask!
